Do you have spare fruit to give away or would you like free fruit to harvest or collect?
The Fruit for Free scheme acts as a noticeboard connecting those with surplus home-grown fruit such as apples, pears, plums etc, to give away to those wanting to receive fruit.
If you have fruit to donate please click on the 'I HAVE FRUIT TO GIVE AWAY' button below to send us details by email.
When we receive your listing we’ll check it and post it up on this website. Please see below for an example of how the listing will look.
If you want to receive fruit browse the listings below and if you find anything that meets your needs, please contact the donor directly by email. You will need to harvest the fruit unless stated otherwise.
The scheme is for anyone living in the parishes of: Ashperton; Bosbury; Coddington; Colwall; Eastnor and Donnington; Ledbury; Little Malvern; Malvern Town; Malvern Wells; Mathon; Wellington Heath and West Malvern.
The scheme opens on 1st September each year and closes on 15th December.
Ledbury Food Bank are very happy to accept donations of apples and pears. It is helpful if they have some idea about quantities and when the fruit is likely to be delivered so that they can plan accordingly.
The Ledbury Food Bank is open each Wednesday and Friday morning and Thursday evenings. https://www.ledburyfoodbank.org
