Hedges provide a fantastic haven for wildlife in gardens and farmland. This winter Colwall Orchard Group will be running training sessions in hedge care, hedgelaying and planting until March. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Check out this great video to see how this work was done in the 1940s... Does this chap ever remove the tobacco pipe from his mouth?!
Dear COG friends
It is with regret that we have decided not to run Colwall Wassail in January 2022 due to the evolving Covid situation. We believe that it will not be possible to hold a safe and enjoyable event in the current circumstances.
We hope that we can have a spring or summer celebration to celebrate orchards and that we can look forward to another Wassail in January 2023.
With best wishes for your good health, and hoping that you'll raise a glass to our orchards and a good harvest in 2022.

As a people-based, environmental charity the Covid-19 pandemic has curtailed our events and education programme which has had a major impact upon our income.
Your support and financial contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve local orchards for the benefit of people and nature alike.
Your generous donation will fund our activities to restore, promote and celebrate traditional orchards.
