Apple Pressing

Have a go using our traditional apple press! If you have apples or pears bring them along and join Colwall Orchard Group Volunteers in scratting and pressing them to make juice to take home. If you have more than a trug-full email in advance so that we can book you in:

Apple identification and display of local fruit

Come and see an incredible display of apple varieties found around the village. If you have an apple tree and don’t know the variety of the fruit, bring along specimens to be identified.

Apple expert, Tim Dixon, will be on hand to answer your questions and to identify your apples. Click Red Apple for more detail.

Food, drink and entertainment

The Orchard Room Cafe will be serving delicious fresh apple juice, hot drinks and homemade cakes


BBQ from midday - with Waller burgers and

sausages, and halloumi burgers
